Dr. Pavan Duggal addressed the Webinar on “Threats And Protection From Cybercrime: In Perspective of Growing Trend of Social Media” organized by Cyberlaw University alongwith East District Legal Services Authority and Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi on 23rd May, 2020 at 12 pm.

During the said Webinar, he highlighted specifically on how #Covid-19 has been a game changer in terms of increasing cybercrimes on social media. He also highlighted as to what strategies do children and other stakeholders need to adopt in order to prevent becoming victims of cybercrimes.

WEB MEETING ON NEW CYBER WORLD ORDER & LEGAL APPROACHES

With more than a billion people having been forced to be in homes during National Lockdowns, Coronavirus age has got diverse responses from different governments across the world.
Different legal provisions have been made in different parts of the world. These increasing new developments in Coronavirus age indicates that the New Cyber World Order is around the corner.
With the coming of humanity out from COVID-19 times, cyberspace, in which we are living, will be a different ground reality.
Dr. Pavan Duggal, international renowned expert and authority on Cyberlaw and Chairman, International Commission on Cyber Security Law has authored a book “New Cyber World Order Post COVID-19”. This book seeks to demystify some of the parameters that New cyber World Order is likely to take, once Coronavirus age comes to an end. He has also discussed other areas and ramifications with regard to New Cyber World Order in his book.

In the said Web Meeting, Pavan elaborated on the main crux and salient features of the Telemedicine legalization process in India. He highlighted the various step-by-step methodologies that must be keep in mind by Doctors, while engaging in Telemedicine in India. He also highlighted the list of practical steps and strategies for medical practitioners in India to follow, while doing Telemedicine consultations in India.
